Indication

Internal and external haemorrhoid, anal fissure, anal pruritus, perianal eczema, proctitis, pre-operative and post-operative treatment of haemorrhoidectomy, post-partum haemorrhoidal condition and as prophylaxis in between attacks.

Dosage & Administration

In the morning and evening and after each stoolation, ointment should be applied in the pruritic area. For deep application, applicator should be attached to the tube and inserted to the full extent and the tube should be squeezed gently from the lower end while withdrawing.

Precautions

Should not be used extensively during pregnancy. If used for prolonged period, Hydrocortisone may be absorbed in an amount to produce systemic effect.
